Technology Portfolio Map¶

The DHI Technology Portfolio currently contains more than 100 assets.

The Technology Portfolio Map describes the existing asset portfolio.
The Architecture Board is working on a new Reusable Componnet and Asset Map.

Asset Types¶

The assets are divided into the following asset types.

The types highlighted in bold contains assets of interest for the Technology Map.

Advisory Enabler
A digital asset which supports our Advisory revenue stream. Will usually not have a price tag or license, but is used internally to increase profit on Advisory projects either through efficiency or quality.
LCM of Advisory Enablers are considered operational costs and will be assigned by Product Portfolio Manager and Operational Excellence Director at a level reasonable to the profit generated on projects.

Bespoke Solution
A digital solution which is currently running at one (or a few more clients) as individual implementations modified for the particular client. The digital solution will usually not have an individual price tag as the project is sold as a whole to the client.
Maintenance and operations is per default paid by the client. Some bespoke solutions have LCM that are considered operational costs and will be assigned by Product Portfolio Manager and Operational Excellence Director at a level reasonable to the profit generated on projects.
Scalable Solution
A digital solution which is a fixed package that is reused at multiple clients. The solution may require configuration, but the core solution is the same for all clients. The solution itself will have a price tag and always be licensed.
LCM is assigned to the digital solution at a yearly budget. Each Scaled Solution will have a unique Project Type and related projects are tagged in Maconomy.

SW Enabler
Software components or services that are built so they can be re-used as components or services for many different developments. The function as underlying infrastructure for both Bespoke Solutions, Scaled Solutions and Products.
LCM is assigned to the software enablers at a yearly budget. Each product have a unique Project Type.
SW MIKE
A product that is off-the-shelf and considered part of the MIKE portfolio.
LCM is assigned to the product at a yearly budget. Each product have a unique Project Type.
SW Other
A product that is off-the-shelf, which are not part of the MIKE portfolio. This include data sales. The product will typically have a price tag.
LCM is assigned to the product at a yearly budget. Each product have a unique Project Type.

Portfolio Pipeline
Assets with potential to scale or ongoing investments. Can come from previous projects, research, extensions to existing products, etc.
At this time they are not contributing to any of the revenue streams.

Selected assets of the DHI Technology Portfolio will be used as base for the new DHI Technology Map.

The following data should be verified and updated:
